Miami’s Sweet Spots

Updated: Feb 4

As promised, Key2MIA is bringing you some of our favorite bakeries in Miami. Because there are so many amazing locations for culinary satisfaction, it was hard to narrow it down...but here are our top 5!

Bunnie Cakes

We cannot tell a lie! This place was our first love. As Miami’s first vegan and gluten-free bakery, it became the obvious choice for ”staff meetings” on Saturdays. They have a variety of treats on a variety of flavors, ranging from red velvet to guava.

Pink Pie

These are almost too cute to eat, but you MUST indulge. Pink pie offers over 30 different flavors, with vegan and gluten free options.

The Salty Donut

Get here early because every flavor is sure to sell out. This local gem is a local favorite, and for good reason. There’s too many delicious flavors to give you a favorite, but experiencing this place once will change your life.

Vicky Bakery

Have you ever seen anything sweeter? Vicky Bakery is, in our opinion, Miami’s best spot for an authentic guava and cheese pastry. Stop by to make your day a little sweeter.

Fireman Derek’s

Ring the alarm! Fireman Derek’s Bake Shop was started years ago by Derek Kaplan, a City of Miami firefighter. He began selling key lime pies on a Coconut Grove corner and now, has several locations across Miami. Purchase by the slice or get the whole pie!
