If you've been on this journey with me for a while, you already know that my heart is in this work. So being featured on TV One's Savor the City for the work wasn't just a moment for me, it was a reminder of why I do what I do.
Although Key2MIA offers several experiences, there's something so special for me to share Miami's Black history. As a cultural curator, I believe that storytelling is one of our strongest tools, especially when it comes to honoring Black history and legacy. Almost daily, I uncover something new and it has become a labor of love to ensure that history is seen, celebrated and remembered. So when TV One reached out for me to contribute, I was more than happy to oblige.

The crew came down to film during Art Basel and I had the chance to show them a slice of Key2MIA's Melanin Miami tour. We walked through Historic Overtown and Little Haiti, talked about our history, our people and how deeply rooted the Black experience is in Miami. Even in the midst of the high-energy that Art Basel brings, the show was still able to zoom in on the Black creatives, businesses and culture-bearers. That's where the magic really happens.
Businesses highlighted in this episode:
Art Basel Black-centered events:
AfriKin Art Fair
Black @ Basel
Soul Basel
Prizm Art Fair
